Mindfulness in the Classroom

One of the hot trends in anxiety treatment (including for people with generalized anxiety disorder) is mindfulness, which is an ancient idea borrowed from the Buddhist tradition that help people focus on the present. The NY Times has a story about the growing use of mindfulness, including having kids at school take time to just "be" during the school day.
