The fact that older adults have difficulty with changing sleep patterns is not new information. Unfortunately, these problems can become more complicated when there is anxiety or depression involved. Older adults can struggle with generalized anxiety disorder just like any other segment of the population, and getting help for this could also be an effective strategy for improving other problems like sleep disturbance.
