Ethnic Differences in SSRI Response

Research is showing that there may be some differences in how people from different racial and ethnic groups respond to SSRI treatment. Specifically, in a clinical trial, people that spoke Spanish took longer to show effects of the treatment. This is certainly something worth following. Click here for more on medications for anxiety.

Why not a mandatory assesment about the pharmacogenetics / pharmacogenomics drug’s profiles, before FDA or EMEA ok?
